My research explores computational approaches to better understand and optimize mammalian cell systems used in biopharmaceutical production.
Current projects include:
Developing kinetic models to connect HEK-293 host cell behaviour with rAAV production.
Designing feed strategies that shift CHO cells into more efficient metabolic states for mAb production.
Applying inverse optimization to identify key drivers of mammalian cell metabolism.
Creating multi-scale models to link bioreactor hydrodynamics with cell kinetics and protein glycosylation.
