I have a broad interest in utilizing microbial and mammalian cell metabolism to improve manufacturing capabilities of small molecules and biologics for applications in human health and sustainability. I currently work on HEK293 cell culture optimization and cell engineering for improvements in rAAV biomanufacturing, virus-like-particle (VLP) manufacturing process development, and engineering of filamentous fungi for production of metal associating small molecules.
